His Royal Highness, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Matab bin Thenayan bin Mohamed Al Saud honored Imran Raza Kazmi, the CEO of IRK Films and the producer of Parchi, and Arif
Lakhani, co-producers of Parchi with a prestigious memento at the premiere of their movie in Saudi Arabia. The movie released in Saudi Arabia on 19 th January, 2018.
Saudi Arabia recently announced that it will be opening their public cinemas, and Parchi starring Hareem Farooq, Ali Rehman Khan, and Usman Mukhtar in lead roles is one of the few movies that is beingscreened for the first time in Saudi Arabia.
Parchi has been declared a hit in Pakistan with its houseful shows, and has also been well-received internationally in USA and Canada. The movie is produced under the banner of IRK Films in association with ARY Digital and Arif Lakhani Films, and directed by the talented Azfar Jafri of Janaan fame.
“It is a great honor to be given a memento from the Royal Highness himself. After the phenomenal response we got from Pakistan, and internationally from USA and Canada, we are hoping that the audiences in Saudi Arabia will be able to connect to the movie and enjoy it,” stated Imran Raza Kazmi, the producer of the movie.
“It was truly overwhelming to receive the special memento from the Prince, and I would like to thank him for his gracious support in bringing Parchi to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the entire team of Parchi. This is indeed history in making, and it is truly an honor for us that our movie has been selected to be screened in Saudi Arabia. This clearly shows that Pakistani movies have international appeal, and in the future more movies can be screened there,” stated Arif Lakhani, co-producer of the movie.
“Due to some unavoidable circumstance I could not physically go to Saudi Arabia to receive the memento, but I was well represented by my co-producer Imran Raza Kazmi at the event,” he further added.
Parchi will release in UAE on 25 th January, 2018 and in UK on 26th January, 2018.
