MANTO THE FILM FINALLY GETS A RELEASE DATE
The much – awaited film debut of Sarmad Khoosat, Manto the Film, finally has a release date. The Geo Films production is slated to reach theatres next month on September 11th.
Manto stars Khoosat in the lead role along with a throng of talented actors from the world of television.
The film that has been in the making for almost two years will focus on Manto’s life, his relationships and some of his stories.
The movie will be followed up by a drama series featuring Manto’s most popular and controversial stories on Geo TV.
The film and television series stars Mahira Khan, Saniya Saeed, Humayun Saeed, Saba Qamar and Azfar besides Khoosat!
Here’s hoping Manto continues the revival of Pakistani cinema!
