The annual Fitness Fiesta fundraiser was held at Lakeside, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, in Johar Town Lahore on Sunday, December 4, 2016 with the support of event partners Khalis Food Market, Shapes Active Lifestyle and The Forty Two Day Challenge.

Titled ‘Fitness Fiesta in the Spirit of Giving’, the event offered a range of attractions for people from all age groups including over 30 different organic food stalls by Khalis Food Market, a Fitness Corner by Shapes Active Lifestyle, boot-camp by the team at The Forty Two Day Challenge and free health and nutritional consultations. The all-day event also featured a Walkathon, Kids Corner, Cricket & Football tournaments to celebrate the occasion. Lucky draws were held by the hour featuring prizes from Amrapali Jaipur, Saira Shakira, Saira Rizwan, Cafe Latch, Cabaret by Foha, Lakhany Silk Mills, Erum Khan and Fatima Nasir.

Speaking at the occasion, CEO of Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital, Dr. Faisal Sultan said: “Hosting the Fitness Fiesta at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre consecutively for the third time signifies, for us, an enormous benchmark of success in creating awareness for SKMCH, raising donations for a good cause and promoting a healthy lifestyle all at the same time. The event also serves as a reminder of the importance of giving back to the society and playing our part, however small it maybe, as responsible and caring citizens of the society.”
